Thermoelectric Materials

Thermoelectric materials are substances that can generate an electrical voltage when subjected to a temperature gradient. These materials have the unique property of converting heat directly into electricity, or vice versa, without moving parts or environmentally harmful emissions. They are used in a variety of applications, including power generation, heating and cooling systems, and electronic devices. Our advanced research in thermoelectric materials has led to the development of more efficient and cost-effective materials and modules, which has increased their use in various industries. Despite their potential benefits, challenges remain in scaling up thermoelectric technology for widespread use, and research efforts continue to focus on improving the performance and reliability of these materials. Currently, we offer Bi2Te3-based and PbTe-based thermoelectric materials.

A. High quality and reliable for both cooling & power generation; Low-temperature materials (Bi2Te3 Based, Up to around 450K)

P-type:

B. High quality and reliable for power generation (Lead-Telluride (PbTe) based, Datasheet ) Intermediate temperature (up to 850K)

P-type:

1. Purity: 99.99%
2. Thermal conductivity (k): 1.1-2.0w/m.K
3. Seebeck (S) : 100-180 uV
4. Electrical conductivity (ρ, rho): 900-1200
5. ZT>=0.9@650K

N-type:

1. Purity: 99.99%
2. Thermal conductivity (k): 2.2-3.0w/m.K
3. Seebeck (S) : 250-350 uV
4. Electrical conductivity (ρ, rho): 900-1200
5. ZT>=1.1@650K

Thermoelectric materials sizes

The Bi2Te3/PbTe alloy or N/P type thermoelectric materials come in the form of pellets, ingots, bars, or wafers in different sizes. Materials are cut with Wire Electrical Discharge Machining (WEDM) assuring precision. Please CONTACT us for inquiries or place an order. Custom sizes of elements are welcomed. Packaging of Thermoelectric Materials

Materials in form of wafers, pellets or ingot will be carefully packed in bulk, then put into a white foam box. We also provide a taping package in reel as images are shown, which is designed to mount on SMT/SMD machines and for automatic production lines.
